Reservation Guide

The reservation at the center to benefit from the services, place, material and equipment available at the center for all sectors, where the center serves a number of sectors at University founder, beyond to make it easier for users, the center has been set up a mechanism for the reservation as follows:

First: reservation and inquiry

Reservations can be made online only at csc.kau.edu@gmail.com
Complete and accurate information must be written, especially with regard to the numbers of participants.
The number of attendees in the small halls should not exceed (5) five people, and the large halls should not exceed (10) ten people.
The number of attendees should not exceed what is approved in the reservation.
Reservations are limited to activities with practical training using simulators (low, medium, or high) accuracy.

Second: Attending the center:

Before arriving, please make sure to wear masks, and no participant will be allowed to enter without wearing a mask
While inside the center and the halls, social distancing must be maintained and masks should be worn, and when you need to touch or use devices in the center, you must wear non-sterile gloves and maintain sterilization of hands when moving between the halls
After completing the scientific or training session, please wash your hands and sterilize them
Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the classrooms, and breaks will be scheduled in places prepared for that
You must leave the center immediately after the training ends and maintain social distancing upon exit
These procedures are applied to all participants without exception

Internal Events

Booking for a regular session

Filling in the approved booking (CSSC Utilization) with all data needed including:

Date of the session.
Time of session.
A number of participants in the session.
Gender
Academic year
Duration of the session
The college where participants belong.
Name of the group.
Faculty or lecturer name and position.
Equipment’s, machines and material needed.

The filled form should be handle to the CSSC staff located at the front desk for further processing. On the other hand, send it via CSSC email: med.csc@kau.edu.sa
The delegated staff at front desk check for availability of space at needed time and date then the session will be scheduled according and will be confirmed.
The sessions that require simulation will be delegate to the simulation unit
The cancellation should be 24 hours prior to the event.
The OSCE or other examinations events have a priority over all other regular sessions.
The Team leader of the Medical Student Group or the Faculty only allow booking for a session.

Booking for exams (Kau. students)

(CSSC Utilization) should be filled out completely Exam schedule must be attached, then send it via CSSC email: med.csc@kau.edu.sa
A confirmation will be send back according to the availability of space and resources attached with booking form.
CSSC delegated staff at front desk highlights the needed space and resources on the Center map and included the exam on that day activity.
Programs for Residents and/or house Officers doctors and nursing education department at Kauh.
(CSSC Program Utilization) to fill out, attached the program objectives and the Training program scheduling including date, numbers of participant space, facilities and resources required, send it via CSSC email: med.csc@kau.edu.sa
The delegated staff at front desk check for the availability of space at needed time and date, booking form filled out by the faculty in charge for the program, and then the session will be schedule accordingly and confirmed.

External Events

Booking a workshop

According to Bait Alkhebra, all workshops and courses to be done at the center has been proceeded through bait Bait Alkhebra first and a written approval form and submit to CSSC administration by clarifying the date, workshop title, space and facilities and resources required (BaitAlkhebra Letter)
(CSSC Program Utilization) to fill out, attached with written approved from Bait Alkhebra, then send it via CSSC email: med.csc@kau.edu.sa
Booked on the date upon availability, and reply to confirm the appointment as requested or suggest changing the date if not available.

Fellowship Exams Board, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and other parties

(CSSC Program Utilization) to fill out attached with written approval from Bait Alkhebra (BaitAlkhebra Letter), then send it via CSSC email: med.csc@kau.edu.sa
Booked on the date upon availability, and reply to confirm the appointment as requested or suggest changing the date if not available
